ATI Radeon HD 4670 and 4650 - Specs,Review

AMD has announced the ATI Radeon HD 4600 Series Graphics Cards, the Radeon HD 4670 and 4650 for the Masses, giving Double Game Performance at the Same Price. The features of these are :
  • The GPU is based on AMD’s recently released RV770 architecture(same as in Radeon 4800 series) and are manufactured on TSMC’s 55nm process node
  • 514 million transistors on 55nm fabrication process
  • PCI Express 2.0 x16 bus interface
  • GDDR3/DDR3/DDR2 memory interface (depending on model)
  • Microsoft DirectX 10.1 support
  • Unified Superscalar Shader Architecture
  • Dynamic Geometry Acceleration
  • Anti-aliasing features
  • Texture filtering features
  • OpenGL 2.0 support
  • ATI CrossFireX Multi-GPU Technology
  • ATI Avivo HD Video and Display Platform
  • ATI PowerPlay Technology
These are the Good Performance graphics cards at an affordable Price. They are cool and quite and have low power consumption(60 watt by HD 4670 and 50 watt by HD 4650).They have good CrossFire Scaling. The other option to these GPU’s is the GeForce 9600 GT which is just a few bucks costlier then these.

ATI Radeon HD 4550 - low Price,low-power Graphics

AMD is designing a new low Price,low-power Graphics card - the ATI Radeon HD 4550.It will consume less than 25 watt of powerand will be quieter. It will come in two models with 256MB and 512MB DDR3 memory at 600MHz main core speed and with 800MHz actual memory clock speed .

AMD ATI DirectX 11 Graphics Cards GPU in 2009

AMD has announced (at CEATEC Japan) that it will launch it’s ATI DirectX 11 compatible Graphics Cards in the year 2009.AMD also announced that it will use a 40nm process to make its chips and use the GDDR5 memory standard to make higher performance graphics processors(GPU).

Nvidia GeForce GTX 280 Review - Fastest Graphics card in Planet

NVIDIA launched a new architecture graphics cards Nvidia Geforce GTX 280/260. The Nvidia Geforce GTX 280 is built on a 65nm process and has 1.4 billion transistors.

280 Pros.
  1. Fastest Graphics Card
  2. Overall performance in comparison to 8800GTX
  3. Energy Efficient Very low power consumption at idle state
  4. Accelerated CUDA (Compute Unified Device Architecture) software
Nvidia Geforce GTX 280 Cons
  1. Still No support for DirectX 10.1
  2. Little Performance enhancement compared to the 9800 GX2
  3. Noise
  4. High Price not worthy 9800 GX2 still better option
